XPeers Terms and Privacy Policy

Xor Inc UK built the XPeers as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by Xor Inc UK at no cost and is intended for use as is. You have to agree to our Terms of Service (“Terms”) befbefore installing or using our apps, services, or website (together, “Services”).

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Terms & Privacy Policy.

You agree to use our Services only for legal, authorized, and acceptable purposes. You will not use (or assist others in using) our Services in ways that: (a) violate or infringe our rights, our users, or others, including privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or other proprietary rights; (b) involve sending illegal or impermissible communications such as bulk messaging, auto-messaging, and auto-dialing. We will end your Service Account if you do any content or abusive users.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at XPeers unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to Xor. The information thatwe request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.

Account Information

You can register by your phone number or username instead. You can optionally add other information to your account, such as a profile name and profile avatar.

The app does not use any third party services to identify you.

Internet Connection and Messages

This app only contect to XPeers Cloud. All of the connection is encrypted. Nobody can decrypt your data in XPeers. XPeers do not save any message from any user, we only forward your messages to your partner. Only you and your partner can decrypt your messages. All of your message history is stored on your own phones.

Additional technical information is stored on XPeers servers, including randomly generated authentication tokens, push notification tokens, and other information that is necessary to establish calls and transmit messages.

Camera

XPeers can optionally use your Camera to capture image for sharing or update your profile avatar and scan QR Code to help you add new contacts easily.

Microphone

XPeers can optionally use your Microphone to establish secure calls.

Contact

XPeers can optionally discover which contacts in your address book are XPeers users. Information from your contacts will be cryptographically hashed and transmitted to the XPeers server in order to determine which of your contacts are registered XPeers before to give you more convenient when using XPeers.

Log Data

We do not get any log data from you.

Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

Objectionable Content

Although we have no obligation to screen or monitor your Content, we may review, remove, or delete the Content posted and shared by you at any time and at our discretion, such as in cases where other users notify us that your Content violates these Terms. If we disable or terminate your account for a violation of these Terms, you will not create another account without our express permission.

We are not liable for any acts or omissions by you that breach any applicable laws. You must also honor and comply with all our user requests to stop or opt-out of receiving certain or all types of Xpeers messages from you. Our users may block you, mark your messages as spam, or notify us that you are otherwise violating our terms and policies. We will then take appropriate action, which could result in our suspending or terminating your account.

We will act on objectionable content reports within 24 hours by removing the content and ejecting the user who provided the offending content. In additional, we will communicate the outcome of our complaint investigation to you within a reasonable timeframe if you have provided us with your valid email address.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
